Brown wins #WyndhamInvitational in two-hole playoff

Blades Brown Champion - 2023 - Wyndham Invitational presented by Odyssey

Greensboro, NC - Blades Brown of Nashville, Tennessee, found himself tied for 10th place heading into the final round of the Wyndham Invitational presented by Odyssey, but he got hot down the stretch and catapulted into a three-way tie for first place. He eventually was crowned champion following a two-hole playoff.

The 2026 graduate secured the title at Sedgefield Country Club, finishing the 72-hole tournament at 2-under-par 278.

Brown started his round with a bogey on No. 1 but made up for it with birdies on Nos. 5, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 18, giving him a total of 18 birdies throughout the four-day tournament. Despite entering the day at 2-over-par, Brown's play elevated at just the right time, as he shot the low final round of 5-under-par 65.

If you would've told me that I would be winning this tournament yesterday, I would've thought you were crazy. My mindset was to be patient.

Brown finished the tournament with rounds of 69-72-72-65 for a total of 2-under-par 278. Brown is currently ranked No. 48 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.

Henry Guan of Dallas, Texas, struggled out the gate, carding three bogeys on the front nine, making the turn at 3-over-par 38. The 2022 champion finished the round at 2-over-par 72 and 2-under-par 278 for the tournament to secure a share of second-place.

Joshua Kim of Danville, California, had quite the roller coaster of a final round, as he carded four birdies and a trio of bogeys. The 2025 graduate concluded the round at 1-under-par 69 and 2-under-par 278 for the tournament to claim a share of second-place.

William Jennings of Greenville, South Carolina, came in fourth at 1-under-par 279.

Two players shared the fifth-place spot, Rowan Sullivan of Charleston, South Carolina, and Jay Leng Jr. of San Diego, California, at 2-over-par 282.

Six players shared the seventh-place spot, Jack Roberts of Saint Marys, Georgia, Matt Moloney of Daniel Island, South Carolina, Chase Kyes of Birmingham, Alabama, Jake Albert of Blacksburg, Virginia, Jack Gilbert of Houston, Texas, and Boston Bracken of Saint George, Utah, at 3-over-par 283.
