The TaylorMade Preview at York has been honored with the 2024 AJGA Preview of Year award, given to outstanding preview events with exceptional overall experience in junior golf.
Last year, the TaylorMade Preview at York was added to the AJGA Junior All-Star at York with full committee support of a double event model. Although it was the inaugural year with a preview addition, 2024 marked the sixth-consecutive year of the AJGA Junior All-Star hosted at Regents' Glen Country Club in York, Pennsylvania.

In 2024, each partner played a vital role in hosting the largest AJGA event ever held in York, Pennsylvania. Their support – along with that of our dedicated volunteers, and the welcoming community and staff at Regents’ Glen – makes it possible for us to deliver the exceptional tournament experience that keeps players coming back year after year.”
Essential to the success of TaylorMade Preview at York and the AJGA Junior All-Star at York was the support from the club, staff and volunteers. The double event boasted a full volunteer base, a 75% increase in committee fundraising from 2023, a food truck event for both Qualifier & JAS players and a “How to Manage the Golf Course” presentation from the committee to players. In addition, all staff were able to stay in private housing and grants covered the invitational signage, additional player gifts and volunteer reception.

The combination of Junior All-Star and Preview events also adds to its distinctiveness – while Junior All-Star events are filled using the Performance Based Entry system, AJGA Preview Series events designed to offer opportunities to AJGA members who have not been accepted into an AJGA tournament through building their Performance Based Entry status and providing competitive junior golf experience. The impact of this model is seen in players like Logan McGinn, who finished T2 in the Preview in 2024 and returned to York to compete in the Junior-All Star this year.
Chia-Hsin Hu of Taoyuan City, Taiwan and Luke Kowalchik of Woodbridge, Connecticut were able to secure their first AJGA wins last year at the 2024 TaylorMade Preview at York. Hu went on to tie for third at the 2024 Nemacolin Junior All-Star while Kowalchik has since played in three more AJGA events (AJGA Junior at Rayburn Resort presented by City of Jasper, AJGA Lake Charles Junior Championship and AJGA Junior at Geneva).
Regents' Glen Country Club hosted both TaylorMade Preview at York presented by ICL Academy and the AJGA Junior All-Star at York this year from July 6 – 10, 2025.
