The 2024 tournament marked the second edition of the Will Lowery Junior Championship at Carolina Trace Country Club in Sanford, North Carolina. A significant factor in the event’s success was the presence and influence of Will Lowery, who is one of golf's most impactful media personalities. Lowery, who was on-site at the tournament every round, brought his unique perspective and passion to the event.
Lowery hosted a cross-handed challenge during the practice round, giving juniors an opportunity to interact with him in a fun and engaging way. Throughout the tournament, a DJ on the starting tee played walk-out songs for the juniors. The four-day event culminated with Lowery handing out trophies and taking photos with the top finishers at the awards ceremony, making it a truly memorable week for all involved.

The event returned to Carolina Trace Country Club for its third year on March 27-30, 2025, continuing to build on its success. Lowery was on-site once again, bringing the same energy and passion that helped the tournament earn the AJGA's Media Award. He interacted with players throughout the event and created an engaging and fun atmosphere for all the juniors. Champions of the event were Lucas Gimenez (-1) of Jacksonville, Florida and Vidhi Lakhawala (-11) of Kendall Park, New Jersey.
