Heading into the final round, Grace Carter of Jupiter, Florida, extended her lead in the Girls Division with a 4-under-par 68 in the second round of the 1st Clubs for Kids Foundation Junior All-Star Invitational. After opening with another 4-under-par 68, Carter now holds a six-shot lead heading into the final day.
Carter started strong, making three birdies and no bogeys on her opening nine. She carried that momentum through the back nine, adding three more birdies to finish with six total for the day.
"I played around the course shot by shot and ended up playing pretty well."
Trailing Carter are Aubrey Lee of Stevenson Ranch, California and Alexandra Phung of Forest Hills, New York, who are tied for second at 3-under-par 141.
Lee maintained her position from round one with three birdies in the second round, while Phung climbed three spots on the leaderboard after carding four birdies and posting a 1-under-par 71.

In the Boys Division, Ryan Hooker of Oakton, Virginia, surged six spots up the leaderboard with a 5-under-par 67 to take a two-shot lead heading into the final round. Hooker’s round featured seven birdies, four on the front nine and three more on the back. His day is highlighted an impressive day of ball striking.
Hooker, currently No. 130 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and a 2025 Junior All-Star Team Member, will look to close out his strong performance on Sunday.
"I feel like I was really in control of my game and was able to shoot a low round."
Maxwell Milton of Polson, Montana, sits in second at 4-under-par 140 after carding an eagle on the par-5 first hole and playing a bogey-free front nine.
Rounding out the top five are David Kim, SJ Thomas, and Yunze Wang, who are all tied for third at 3-under-par 141. All three are looking to climb the leaderboard in the final round on search for the win.

The 1st Clubs for Kids Foundation provides kids with their first, hands-on introduction to the game and assists in providing a set of clubs to those who want to pursue the sport. The foundation will also create opportunities for juniors to receive lessons and will provide resources for competitive play.
For those junior golfers who excel and have the drive to pursue collegiate and professional levels, the foundation will provide the resources needed to identify these opportunities. The foundation will have a positive impact on kids, and individuals who aspire to work in the golf industry and will impact the industry as a whole.
Since its inception, the foundation has provided access to a sport that perhaps, many never thought they would have access to. Many children have been significantly impacted positively from the foundation; particularly those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and those who have been impacted by severe grief from the loss of a family member or loved one.
