Liberty National Golf Club is set to host the third edition of the Mizuho Americas Open. Held in partnership with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), this unique event offers a premier platform for 24 of the top junior female golfers to compete alongside a 120-player LPGA field. These AJGA juniors will contend for their own tournament title during the 72-hole stableford competition, scheduled for May 5–11, 2025.

About the Field
Selected through the Rolex AJGA Rankings, the junior field features players from nine states and two countries, including 23 Rolex Junior All-Americans and 21 AJGA champions. Of these, six players have made verbal commitments to play collegiate golf, while three have signed their National Letter of Intent.

AJGA alumna Nelly Korda won her sixth title of the 2024 season at the Mizuho Americas Open last year and returns to the LPGA field in 2025 to defend her title. After a dominating 2024 season, she continues to make history in women's golf. Korda hosted her second AJGA Invitational, The Nelly Invitational presented by Chevron, at The Concession Golf Club last week.

Yana Wilson, the inaugural junior champion of the tournament in 2023, is set to compete in the LPGA field this week. After making the decision to turn professional last fall, Wilson received a sponsor exemption into the tournament this year. She will make history as the first person to win the event as a junior and return to compete as a professional.

Gianna Clemente took home her third AJGA Invitational title at the event last year, winning by two points. Finishing with a total of 149 points in the stableford event, she battled her way to the top and is back to defend her title this year. After a successful 2024 season, Clemente was honored with the title of the Rolex Junior Player of the Year.
