In her first Rolex Girls Junior Championship appearance, Song began her round on the front nine where she struck for four birdies, including three straight circles on Nos. 6, 7 and 8.

Two more birdies on the back nine smothered Song's lone bogey of the round to certify her leading scorecard.

Song has had five top-25 finishes so far this year, including a third place finish at the AJGA Thunderbird Heather Farr Classic just a few weeks ago.

A win this week would mark Song's first in an AJGA event.
