BRADENTON, Fla. – The Nelly Invitational presented by Chevron is slated to take place May 1-4 in Bradenton, Florida. The all-girls Invitational brings the top-ranked junior golfers in the world to compete at The Concession Golf Club for a 54-hole, stroke-play tournament. Concession has previously hosted the 2012 Rolex Girls Junior Championship in addition to last year's inaugural event. Nelly Korda, a standout LPGA Tour player, AJGA alumna and Team TaylorMade athlete, will serve as the tournament host to the event once again.
Now in its second year, The Nelly Invitational proudly welcomes Chevron as presenting sponsor. With a historic three-year commitment, Chevron is helping elevate the tournament by offering the largest travel stipend in AJGA stroke-play history—$2,000 for U.S. players and an additional $500 for international participants. The partnership also brings a stronger international field and a groundbreaking prize: an exemption into the following year’s Chevron Championship.
Korda is a three-time Rolex Junior All-American and claimed two AJGA Invitational titles at the 2015 Yani Tseng Invitational presented by the Swinging Skirts and 2015 The PING Invitational. Korda joined the LPGA Tour in 2017 and has had 13 career victories, with five so far in 2024, including two majors at the 2021 KPMG Women's PGA Championship and the 2024 Chevron Championship. Korda has also competed on three Solheim Cup teams in 2019, 2021 and 2023 and won a gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
