Greensboro, NC- Willie Gordon of Hot Springs, Arkansas, fired a 10-under-par 200 to claim his first invitational title at the Wyndham Invitational presented by Odyssey. The University of Arkansas commit carded six birdies in the final round to secure a one-stroke victory.

Gordon entered the final round two strokes off the lead, tied for second as the final tee times began. He made an early charge with four birdies on the front nine to take the lead at the turn. As the leaderboard tightened, Connor Herrera briefly pulled even with Gordon, but the Arkansas native remained steady. He added two more birdies on the back nine and posted a bogey-free round to clinch the win. This marks Gordon’s third career AJGA victory and fourth top-10 finish in an invitational.
Finishing in solo second with a 9-under-par 201 was Jessy Huebner of Port St. Lucie, Florida. Currently ranked No. 13 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, Huebner carded four birdies and turned in a bogey-free round to earn his fifth top-10 invitational finish.
In third at 7-under-par 203 was Luke Balaskiewicz of Jacksonville, Florida. The University of Florida commit tallied three birdies and an eagle on the par-5 No. 5 for his best finish in an AJGA invitational.
Drake Harvey of Las Vegas, Nevada and Blake Brown of Cypress, Texas, rounded out the top five.
Harvey surged up the leaderboard with the low final round of the day shooting 64 to finish at 6-under-par 204 and take fourth. He recorded nine birdies, including five on the back nine, and jumped 14 spots in the standings.
Brown, who led heading into the final round, finished fifth at 5-under-par 205. Despite three birdies on the day, Brown was overtaken by the strong play from his peers. This marks his best finish in an AJGA invitational.
