Greensboro, N.C - Sedgefield Country Club welcomes the AJGA for the 24th iteration of the Wyndham Invitational presented by Odyssey. This historic event features 72 of the top ranked male juniors in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. This is the tournament’s 17th year at Sedgefield Country Club and twelfth consecutive year.

The field features 41 players ranked inside the top 100 of the Rolex AJGA Rankings, highlighting the Invitational Competition. This 54 hole stroke play event features an Qualifier held on June 8th and an Junior- Am on June 9th.

About the Course

  • This year marks Sedgefield's 24th year hosting the AJGA, a testament to the course's rich history. The 72 juniors in the field will compete on the same course that PGA TOUR players will play just two months later during the Wyndham Championship. Notably, 49 PGA TOUR winners have competed in the Wyndham Invitational. Additionally, past participants have achieved significant success, with 12 winning the U.S. Amateur Championship, 15 claiming the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship and seven capturing the NCAA D-I Men’s Individual Championship.

AJGA Champion Highlights

Of the 41 players who’ve won an AJGA event, a few highlights:

  • Asher Vargas of Spring, Texas, is currently No. 4 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and the reigning champion of the 2024 Wyndham Invitational presented by Odyssey. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill commit and two-time AJGA champion looks to carry his strong momentum from 2024 into 2025, a year that saw him earn Rolex Junior All-American honors.
  • Jessy Huebner of Port St. Lucie, Florida, is ranked No. 13 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. After a top-five finish at the Team TaylorMade Invitational, Huebner is in search of his second AJGA title in 2025. He finished in the top 10 at this event last year and is eyeing his first invitational win.
  • Giuseppe Puebla of Royal Palm Beach, Florida is No. 20 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. A 2023 Junior All-Star Team member, Puebla is still in pursuit of his first AJGA victory. With six AJGA career top-10 finishes, he is considered a strong contender heading into the event.
  • Phillip Dunham of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, is ranked No. 21 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. The two-time Rolex Junior All-American and University of Alabama commit enters the Wyndham Invitational presented by Odyssey with confidence following a runner-up finish at the 2025 Team TaylorMade Invitational. Dunham is seeking his sixth career top-10 finish in an AJGA invitational and his first invitational win.
