#FortinetGirls returns to Stanford Golf Course for the sixth time

Stanford, CA - Stanford Golf Course is excited to welcome the AJGA for The Fortinet Stanford Invitational hosted by Rose Zhang. The tournament features 72 of the top-ranked female juniors in the Rolex AJGA Rankings competing in a 54-hole stroke play event.

This competitive Invitational field features 57 players in the top-100 of the Rolex AJGA Rankings including returning 2025 champion, Asterisk Talley of Chowchilla, California. Tournament host and LPGA Tour player Rose Zhang returns for her second year as host for the event. Zhang will be hosting a parent and junior Q&A session as well as engaging on-site with juniors throughout the event.

Players to Watch

Asterisk Talley is ranked No. 2 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and the returning champion of The Fortinet Stanford Invitational hosted by Rose Zhang. The four-time Rolex Junior All-American and six-time AJGA champion looks to become the first back-to-back winner of this event at her future collegiate home, Stanford University.

Anna Fang of San Diego, California, is ranked No. 3 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and is coming off a runner-up finish at the Rolex Tournament of Champions last November. The two-time Rolex Junior All-American and Stanford commit finished second at this event last year and is looking to claim the title this time around.

Honorine Ferry of Flower Mound, Texas, is No. 5 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and enters the week fresh off her first Invitational victory at The PING Invitational this past October. Ferry recorded five top-five AJGA finishes in 2025 and is aiming to capture her first AJGA win of the new season.

Clairey Lin of Palo Verdes Estates, California, is No. 6 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. The two-time Rolex Junior All-American has climbed the rankings after a win at the Ninja Invitational hosted by Janet Xiyu Lin, along with four additional top-five finishes in AJGA Invitationals in 2025. She looks to carry that momentum into this week.

Shauna Liu of Maple, Ontario, Canada is No. 6 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and is coming off a top-five finish at this event last year. The UCLA commit is a four-time AJGA champion and two-time Rolex Junior All-American.

About the Course
The 2026 Fortinet Girls Invitational at Stanford hosted by Rose Zhang marks the 12th AJGA event hosted at Stanford Golf Course. Designed by George C. Thomas and Billy Bell Jr., the course has been a staple of championship golf since its opening in 1930 and is owned and operated by Stanford University. In 2023, Golfweek ranked it No. 7 among college courses nationwide.

About Rose Zhang

Zhang, whose AJGA career was filled with remarkable achievements, returns to her collegiate course to share her insights with the next generation of junior golfers. As a junior, she was a two-time Rolex Junior Player of the Year and a 10-time AJGA champion, with an impressive eight Invitational victories. In 2022, she made history as the first Stanford player in 18 years to win the NCAA Individual Championship. Now balancing life as both a professional golfer and a Stanford student, Zhang continues working toward her diploma while excelling on the LPGA Tour. Since turning pro in 2023, she has already secured two LPGA victories and represented Team USA in two Solheim Cups, further cementing her place among golf’s rising stars.

Tournament History

Originally known as the AJGA Girls Championship at Furman Golf Club from 2009 to 2020, the tournament was renamed the Mariah Stackhouse Girls Invitational in 2021 to honor the AJGA alumna and LPGA Tour player. Now in its third year with Fortinet as the title sponsor, the event welcomes a new chapter in 2024 with Rose Zhang serving as the title host.
