The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) will return to Huntsville Golf Club in 2026 with the AJGA Junior at Huntsville. The tournament rounds will be held August 26–28, with a qualifier scheduled for August 25. This marks the first AJGA event at Huntsville Golf Club since 2024.
The AJGA Junior at Huntsville debuted in 2023 and has provided a premier competitive opportunity for junior golfers in Northeast Pennsylvania. Now entering its third year, the tournament continues to attract top junior golfers from across the country while creating a meaningful impact on the Dallas community and surrounding region.

In addition to providing a world-class competitive opportunity for junior golfers, the tournament has delivered a significant impact on the local community. The 2024 AJGA Junior at Huntsville welcomed 325 visitors representing eight countries and 10 states. The event generated more than $125,000 in visitor spending and produced an estimated $400,000 in total economic impact. Combined, the first two editions of the AJGA Junior at Huntsville generated more than $688,000 in economic impact for the local economy.

The tournament's first two editions also featured strong fields of junior golfers and produced champions who have continued to find success beyond Huntsville Golf Club. Luke Mueller of Wake Forest, North Carolina, captured the inaugural Boys Division title in 2023 and recently completed his freshman season at Michigan State University. In the Girls Division, Alisa Davidova of Roanoke, Virginia, claimed the 2023 title and has since recorded nine top-10 AJGA finishes. Davidova currently sits No. 68 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
The 2024 championship also featured two standout winners who have continued their success on and off the course. Boys Division champion Josh Yan of Newburgh, New York, has posted four top-10 AJGA finishes since his victory and is committed to St. John's University. Josephina Lillian Kritsky, the 2024 Girls Division champion, has also recorded four top-10 AJGA finishes since her win at Huntsville Golf Club.

As tournament preparations begin, organizers are looking to the local community for support to help deliver another successful championship. Volunteer opportunities will be available throughout tournament week, including roles in registration, timing stations, shuttle driving and spotting. In addition, local businesses and organizations are encouraged to explore sponsorship and partnership opportunities to support junior golf while gaining exposure through one of the region's premier sporting events.
