CROMVOIRT, Netherlands - After two days of preparation at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands, the U.S. Team and Team Europe are set to go head-to-head for the title at the 14th PING Junior Solheim Cup.
The PING Junior Solheim Cup is a biennial transatlantic team match play competition featuring 12 of the top female junior golfers from Europe and the United States. The competition consists of six foursomes matches, six four-ball matches and 12 singles matches.
Scoring is based on a points system with 24 points available over two days of competition. One point is awarded for each match won, while teams receive a half-point for matches that finish tied. Because match play is scored by holes won, matches can conclude before reaching the 18th hole. A team must earn 12.5 points to claim the Cup. Should the competition end in a tie, the defending champion U.S. Team would retain possession of the Cup.
The event is known for the camaraderie and team spirit displayed by both the players and captains. The United States leads the all-time series with eight victories (2002, 2005, 2009, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2024), while Europe has won four times (2003, 2007, 2021 and 2023). The teams also played to a draw in 2011.
Competition begins Sunday morning with six foursomes matches, which are scheduled to tee off at 7:30 a.m. CET (1:30 a.m. ET). In foursomes, teammates alternate shots using the same ball, with the side posting the lower score on a hole earning the point for that hole.
The afternoon session will feature six four-ball matches. In four-ball, each player competes with her own ball, and the lowest score among the two partners counts for the team on each hole.
The four-ball pairings will be selected by the captains at 10 a.m. CET (4 a.m. ET). The team leading at that time will have the honor of announcing the first pairing for the afternoon session.

- U.S. Team - Asterisk Talley and Amelie Zalsman vs. Team Europe - Alice Kong and Axelle Guillemard
- U.S. Team - Eliana Saga and Kelly Zhang vs. Team Europe - Lauren Crump and Annabel Peaford
- U.S. Team - Grace Carter and Iris Lee vs. Team Europe - Carolina Perez-Tasso and Adriana Garcia Terol
- U.S. Team - Madeleine Conser and Aubrey Hilgers vs. Team Europe - Carlota Lopez Minguela and Marta Munoz
- U.S. Team - Anna Fang and Lily Peng vs. Team Europe - Anna Ludvova and Lana Guyot
- U.S. Team - Honorine Ferry and Amber Lee vs. Team Europe - Sofia Maier-Borst and Lena Geier
The morning matches are highlighted by the opening match featuring Talley, Kong and Zalsman. Talley enters the competition ranked No. 6 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking®, while Zalsman is No. 26 and Kong is No. 77, making it one of the strongest matchups of the session.

For the first time ever, the 2026 PING Junior Solheim Cup will be contested on the same course as The Solheim Cup at Bernardus Golf in Cromvoirt, Netherlands. The junior event will take place September 7 through 8 , immediately before The Solheim Cup, which runs September 9 through 13.
The PING Junior Solheim Cup is a team match play competition between Europe and the United States, featuring the best twelve female golfers born in 2006 or later. The competition consists of twenty four matches — six foursomes, six four ball matches, and twelve singles matches. The event is intended to prepare juniors for the next stages of their careers by providing high level match play experience and opportunities to learn from the professional competitors playing in The Solheim Cup.
The 2026 event marks the fourteenth playing of the PING Junior Solheim Cup. The United States leads the all-time series 8-4-1 and reclaimed the trophy in 2024 with a commanding 18.5 to 5.5 victory at Army Navy Country Club in Virginia.
The event was established in 2002 by PING CEO and Chairman John A. Solheim and has developed a strong reputation for showcasing the world’s top female junior golfers. Past participants include Rose Zhang, Carlota Ciganda, Linn Grant, Lexi Thompson, and the Korda sisters, all of whom later advanced to The Solheim Cup stage.
