CROMVOIRT, Netherlands – The United States Team captured the 14th PING Junior Solheim Cup at Bernardus Golf after holding off a spirited singles comeback by Team Europe.
Playing on the same course as the Solheim Cup for the first time in event history, the U.S. Team entered the final day with a commanding 9.5-2.5 lead following a dominant performance in foursomes and four-ball matches.
Europe mounted a charge during singles play, winning eight of the 12 matches and recording its most successful singles session in PING Junior Solheim Cup history. Despite the rally, the Americans secured the three-and-a-half points needed to maintain their lead and capture the title.
Europe gained momentum early when Annabel Peaford defeated Asterisk Talley 1 up in the opening match after trailing by two holes with three to play. Additional victories from Lauren Crump, Anna Ludvova, Lena Geier, Sofia Maier-Borst, Axelle Guillemard, Carlota Lopez Minguela and Alice Kong kept the pressure on the U.S. Team throughout the afternoon.
The Americans responded with several crucial performances. Eliana Saga earned a 4 and 3 victory over Adriana García Terol, while Madeleine Conser delivered one of the standout performances of the day, defeating Lana Guyot 5 and 4 after winning seven consecutive holes.
Kelly Zhang added another important point for the U.S. Team with a 2 up victory over Caroline Perez-Tasso. Anna Fang and Marta Muñoz tied their match to secure a valuable half-point for the Americans.
Led by captain Morgan Pressel, the U.S. Team built the foundation for victory during the opening day, winning key matches in both foursomes and four-ball play to establish the seven-point advantage that ultimately proved decisive.

With the victory, the United States improved its all-time record in the biennial competition to 9-4-1 and successfully defended its title against Europe's top junior golfers on foreign soil.
Following the conclusion of the PING Junior Solheim Cup, players from both teams remained at Bernardus Golf to take part in Solheim Cup festivities and watch many of the world's best professional golfers compete.
Since 2002, the PING Junior Solheim Cup has showcased the next generation of women's golf, bringing together the top junior players from the United States and Europe in a biennial international match play competition.
In addition to showcasing many of the world's top female junior golfers, the PING Junior Solheim Cup has been played at some of Europe's and America's most iconic venues, including Gleneagles' Kings Course in Scotland, The Inverness Hotel & Golf Club in Englewood, Colorado, La Zagaleta Golf Club in Spain, Båstad Golf Club in Sweden, and now Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands.

About the PING Junior Solheim Cup
For the first time ever, the 2026 PING Junior Solheim Cup will be contested on the same course as The Solheim Cup at Bernardus Golf in Cromvoirt, Netherlands. The junior event will take place September 7 through 8 , immediately before The Solheim Cup, which runs September 9 through 13.
The PING Junior Solheim Cup is a team match play competition between Europe and the United States, featuring the best twelve female golfers born in 2006 or later. The competition consists of twenty four matches — six foursomes, six four ball matches, and twelve singles matches. The event is intended to prepare juniors for the next stages of their careers by providing high level match play experience and opportunities to learn from the professional competitors playing in The Solheim Cup.
The 2026 event marks the fourteenth playing of the PING Junior Solheim Cup. The United States leads the all-time series 8-4-1 and reclaimed the trophy in 2024 with a commanding 18.5 to 5.5 victory at Army Navy Country Club in Virginia.
The event was established in 2002 by PING CEO and Chairman John A. Solheim and has developed a strong reputation for showcasing the world’s top female junior golfers. Past participants include Rose Zhang, Carlota Ciganda, Linn Grant, Lexi Thompson, and the Korda sisters, all of whom later advanced to The Solheim Cup stage.
