Medinah Country Club will host the fifth edition of the Junior Presidents Cup Sept. 19-21, as the United States Team and International Team meet for two days of team match play. The competition will be contested on a special routing of Course No. 1 and Course No. 2, marking the first time the Junior Presidents Cup will be held at the same venue in the United States as the Presidents Cup, which follows the week after on Course No. 3.
Event Format
Modeled after the Presidents Cup, the Junior Presidents Cup features two teams of 12 male junior golfers ages 12-19 representing the United States and countries from around the world excluding Europe. Players on the United States Team are selected based on the Rolex AJGA Rankings, while International Team selections are based on the World Amateur Golf Rankings® (WAGR®).
The two-day event will follow a team match-play format, beginning Sunday, Sept. 20 with morning four-ball matches followed by afternoon foursomes. The competition will conclude Monday, Sept. 21 with singles matches and a closing ceremony.
About the Field
The U.S. Team features 12 players from seven states, led by five players from Florida and two from California. Texas, North Carolina, New Jersey, Indiana and Ohio are also represented. Nine members of the U.S. Team have earned Rolex Junior All-American honors. Five-time Presidents Cup participant Matt Kuchar will captain the U.S. Team as it looks to claim its fifth consecutive Junior Presidents Cup victory after wins in 2017, 2019, 2022 and 2024.
The International Team features players from 10 countries, the most represented in event history. China and South Korea each have two players on the team, while Vietnam, Japan, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Thailand, Argentina, Guatemala and Colombia are each represented by one player. 2019 Presidents Cup participant and Olympic medalist C.T. Pan will lead the International Team as it seeks its first Junior Presidents Cup victory.
United States Team
Captain Matt Kuchar
A nine-time PGA TOUR winner and Olympic medalist, Matt Kuchar brings extensive international and team competition experience to his role as captain of the 2026 U.S. Team. Kuchar has represented the United States in five Presidents Cups and four Ryder Cups, including serving as a captain’s assistant in the 2018 Ryder Cup. He earned a bronze medal at the Rio Olympics (2016) and has competed in more than 500 PGA TOUR events. A two-time Rolex Junior All-American (1994, 1995), Kuchar competed in 13 AJGA events as a junior and recorded five top-three finishes.
Captain's Assistant Adam Rogers
Known affectionately as “Rog,” Adam Rogers enters his third Junior Presidents Cup as the U.S. Team Captain’s Assistant, a role he has held since 2022. As the AJGA’s Senior Regional Director, West, Rogers works closely with junior golfers and their families across the country. A former standout baseball player at the University of Evansville, Rogers was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays before bringing his competitive spirit and passion for developing young athletes to the AJGA.
Rory Asselta of Ramsey, New Jersey (2028)

Brady Barnum of Dublin, Ohio (2027)

- Two wins and a runner-up finish at The Junior PLAYERS Championship presented by Rolex, which clinched the final U.S. Team spot for the Junior Presidents Cup.
- 2025 Rolex Junior All-American and University of Georgia verbal commitment; finished T2 at the 2026 Western Junior Championship and recorded three additional top-five finishes this season.
Grayson Baucom of Hickory, North Carolina (2028)

International Team
Captain C.T. Pan
A three-time Olympian for Chinese Taipei, C.T. Pan brings extensive international experience to his role as captain of the 2026 International Team. Pan earned his first PGA TOUR victory at the RBC Heritage (2019) and captured a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics (2020). He also represented the International Team in the Presidents Cup (2019), posting a 2-1-0 record. A former Rolex Junior All-American (2009), Pan played in 10 AJGA events and has continued supporting junior golf through hosting AJGA events and the International Pathway Series.
Captain's Assistant Riley Tracy
A three-time Captain’s Assistant for the International Team, Riley Tracy brings extensive experience and leadership to the 2026 Junior Presidents Cup. Tracy has served as a Captain’s Assistant since 2022, making this his third Junior Presidents Cup in the role. As the AJGA’s Senior Vice President, Player Services, Tracy works closely with junior golfers and their families throughout the year. A talented golfer himself, Tracy combines his passion for the game with a family-first mentality and a commitment to helping players reach their full potential.

Tournament History
The inaugural Junior Presidents Cup was held Sept. 25-26, 2017, at Plainfield Country Club in Edison, New Jersey. Since its debut, the biennial competition has been contested in 2017, 2019, 2022 and 2024, with the United States Team winning each of the first four editions.
The United States Team will look to make it five consecutive victories when the Junior Presidents Cup returns to Medinah Country Club in 2026.
About Medinah Country Club
Founded in 1924, Medinah Country Club has a rich history that spans more than a century and includes a long list of significant tournaments. Course No. 1 was originally designed by renowned architect Tom Bendelow in 1925 and later reimagined by acclaimed architect Tom Doak in 2014. The course features generous fairways and thoughtfully contoured greens that provide both playability and challenge.
Bendelow designed Course No. 2 in 1927, and the course was restored in 2017 to honor his original vision while incorporating modern updates. The Junior Presidents Cup will be played on a special routing of Course No. 1 and Course No. 2, marking the first time the event will share a property with the Presidents Cup, which will follow on Course No. 3.
