Trump National Hosts First AJGA Event in Grand Fashion

With the golf season underway, preparations are being made for the AJGA's first event at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J. The 84 players who take part in the Fidelity Investments Junior at Trump National have much more in store for them than just a traditional tournament.

It was recently announced by the USGA that Trump National will be the host for the 2009 U.S. Junior Amateur and U.S. Girls' Junior Championships.

One of the four courses in the Trump National family, this Tom Fazio design has quickly become recognized as one of the best facilities in the world. In August 2005, Golf Magazine rated the Bedminster course as No. 48 in the United States and No. 87 in the world, quite a feat since the course was first fully operational in September 2004.

While having the opportunity to play one of the best courses in the nation, players will also be treated to many other special amenities. Some of the extras that players can look forward to include:

  • Lockers with each player's name on it
  • Players-only lounge with food, drinks, milkshakes and TV
  • Special players gifts
  • Continental breakfast buffet each morning for all players
  • Trips to the USGA for a private tour of the USGA Test Center
  • Baseball tickets for players and their families to the Somerset Patriots
  • Players-only game room open all week including video games, X-box, ping pong, etc.
  • Huge tournament cookout at the pool and bistro with:
    • Pool games
    • Magician
    • DJ

Playing Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster is a once in a lifetime opportunity. To take advantage of this opportunity, log on to the Players Center now and sign up for your chance to play!
