ACE Grant

The Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant provides financial assistance to young men and women who aspire to earn a college golf scholarship through competitive junior golf.
In light of the difficulties some families are experiencing due to COVID-19 the ACE Grant Committee is temporarily revising the required documents which accompany the application. Please read more under the Revised Application Process tab.

ACE GRANT CUP
The 2019 ACE Grant Cup was hosted by Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, IL. The event helped raise more than $100,000 towards an endowment in the name of Conway Farms Golf Club. Former ACE Grant recipient and current PGA Tour member Doug Ghim was on hand to present a check to the ACE Grant on behalf of the Conway Farms membership.

The 2020 ACE Grant Cup is scheduled for August 3 at Liberty National Golf Club.

ACE GRANT MILESTONES
2003
The ACE Grant program begins with 12 juniors. Ryan Hillstrom of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, was the first recipient. On April 30, 2003, Tom Barton became the first private donor of the ACE Grant.
2004
Rolex becomes the first founding corporate partner.
2007
The first ACE Grant endowment was established in memory of Bruce Slovitt, an AJGA tournament champion.
2009
Polo Ralph Lauren becomes the second founding corporate partner.
2010
Jaye Marie Green wins the 2010 Polo Golf Junior Classic, becoming the first ACE Grant recipient to win an AJGA Invitational.
2011
The ACE Grant program reaches $1 million in reimbursement after eight consecutive years of growth.
2015
Smylie Kaufman becomes the first ACE Grant alumnus to win a PGA TOUR event, the Shriners Hospital for Children Open.
2016
ACE Grant recipients breaks record at 206 and reimbursements surpass $3 million.
