A look at your most recent champions from last weekend's AJGA events.

Andre Zhu of (Canada) Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, won the AJGA Junior at Firewheel this past weekend with a score of 10-under-par 134. The 2025 freshman ran away with his first AJGA title finishing four strokes ahead of Jay Leng Jr. of San Diego, California. Zhu opened and closed the tournament with bogey free nines. On Saturday Zhu opened the first round with a clean front nine that included one birdie on the Par 5 No. 4. He then closed out the final round with a clean back nine that included birdies on holes Nos. 12, 13, 16 and 17. Zhu also earned low final round honors with his 8-under-par 6.

Ryleigh Knaub of Winter Springs, Florida, recorded the low final round of 2-under-par 70. Knaub was the only girl in the field to shoot at even-par or better for the tournament. The 2025 freshman put together rounds of 74 - 70 for a tournament total even-par 144. The AJGA Junior at Firewheel marked Knaub's second career AJGA start and first win.

Out in Florida Michael Thomas of Lutz, Florida, earned the Qualifier Medalist honors at the Visit Sebring Preview. The tournament which was affected by weather played 27-holes over two days. Thomas opened the tournament with a one-under-par 71 and closed with an even-par 36.

Sabrina Kim of (Brazil) Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Valeria Ramirez of Bogota, Columbia, shared the Girls Division Preview Medalist honors. Kim and Ramirez were the only two girls to finish the tournament under-par. The two both recorded a first round four-over-par 76 and a second round 5-under-par 36 for a tournament total 1-under-par 71.
