A look at your most recent champions from the past week of AJGA events.

adidas Junior All-Star

Kyra Ly of Portland, Oregon, claimed her first AJGA victory in her first event after winning the Girls Division of the adidas Junior All-Star. The 14-year-old shot the lowest round by any girl in the field with a 6-under-par 68 in the second round which solidified her spot at the top of the leaderboard. She would win by two strokes with a tournament total of 3-over-par 219. In the Boys Division, Patrick Hong of Los Angeles, California, carded three rounds under par to earn the title. After finishing second earlier this year at the Kyle Stanley Championship by Transamerica, he would shoot 8-under-par 208 for the tournament to get his first AJGA victory by three strokes.

AJGA Junior at Woodbridge

Andrew Lee of Fresno, California, won the Boys Division of the AJGA Junior at Woodbridge with an 8-under-par 205 for the tournament. In only his second AJGA start, Lee carded three rounds under par to earn his first AJGA victory by five strokes. Ashley Yun of West Covina, California, won in the Girls Division by one stroke with a tournament total of 4-under-par 209. Her second-round 5-under-par 66 was tied for the lowest round of the tournament in the Girls Division and helped Yun capture her second AJGA win of the 2019 season. She also won the 2019 Callaway Golf Junior Championship in July.

KJ Choi Foundation Junior Championship by SK Telecom

Kabin Choi of Seoul, South Korea, won the Girls Division by four strokes to earn her first AJGA win in her first AJGA tournament. Choi opened the tournament with an impressive 8-under-par 64 to give her the lead after the first round. She would go on to card an 8-under-par 208 for the tournament. Gaven Lane of Argyle, Texas, won in the Boys Division after his tournament total of 5-under-par 211 got him the victory by four strokes. The Oklahoma State University verbal commit shot a 4-under-par 68 in the final round to help secure his first AJGA win.

AJGA Pinehurst Junior

Allan Kournikova of Palm Beach, Florida, won the Boys Division of the AJGA Pinehurst Junior to earn his first AJGA victory with a tournament total of 4-under-par 212. His three-stroke victory was helped by a 3-under-par 69 in the second round and a 2-under-par 70 in the final round. In the Girls Division, Taylor Kehoe of (Canada) Strathroy, Ontario, captured her second AJGA win of the 2019 season after shooting a 1-under-par 215 for the tournament. Kehoe was a member of the 2018 AJGA Junior All-Star team and is No. 46 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.

Coca-Cola Junior Championship at Sugarloaf

Chaewon Baek of (Canada) Langley, British Columbia, won by three strokes in the Girls Division to get her first AJGA win. Her even-par 72 in the final round was the lowest of the day and got her to 6-over-par 222 for the tournament. Caleb Manuel of Topsham, Maine, won the Boys Division with a tournament-total 2-under-par 214. Manuel ended the tournament with back-to-back under-par round to earn his first AJGA victory by six strokes. The 17-year-old is verbally committed to the University of Connecticut.
