A look at your most recent champions from last weekend's AJGA events.

Evan Vo of Austin, Texas, and Ashleigh Park of Irvine, California, became the first AJGA Open champions of 2020 with their victories at the AJGA Junior at Vista Valley. Vo had 11 birdies over the course of the tournament, six of which came during his final round where he shot a 4-under-par 67, which matched the lowest round of the weekend. The seventeen-year-old ultimately won by two strokes at 5-under-par 208. Vo is verbally committed to Auburn University and has one previous AJGA win at the 2017 David Toms Foundation Junior All-Star.

Park battled it out in the final round with fellow competitor Angela (Yilin) Liu of (China) Irvine, California, but ultimately finished on top after a final round 1-over-par 72 and a tournament total of 1-over-par 214. The University of Texas at Austin commit had one previous AJGA win at the 2018 Natural Resource Partners Bluegrass Junior presented by BrickStreet Insurance.

The 12th annual ANNIKA Invitational USA presented by Rolex wrapped up Monday crowning Benedetta Moresco of Caldogno, Vicenza, Italy, a first time AJGA champion. Moresco shot a three-day tournament total of 4-under-par 212, becoming the first Italian champion of the ANNIKA Invitational USA. The University of Alabama verbal commit carded five birdies in the final round for a 1-under-par 71. That capped off an impressive tournament that included first and second rounds of 1-under-par 71 and 2-under-par 72 for a tournament total of 4-under-par 212.

As the 2020 ANNIKA Invitational USA champion, Moresco receives an exemption into the Florida’s Natural Charity Classic, held in Winter Haven, Florida this March, through the AJGA’s partnership with the Symetra Tour. Moresco is the first of three Symetra Tour exemption winners in 2020.
