A look at your most recent champions from last weekend's AJGA events.
June 10 - Karen Tsuru 1.png

Karen Tsuru of Carlsbad, California won the Girls Division of the AJGA Lake Las Vegas Junior by two strokes at Reflection Bay Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada on June 4. Tsuru claimed her first AJGA victory by putting together rounds of 68-65-67 for a tournament total 16-under-par 200. Tsuru also had the low round of both the second and final round of the tournament.

In the Boys Division, Mason Snyder of Las Vegas, Nevada also captured his first AJGA tournament victory. Snyder shot rounds of 64-69-70 for a tournament total 13-under-par 203. He shot the low round of the tournament with his opening round 8-under-par 64 and led after each round of the tournament. This was Snyder's second career top-3 finish in an AJGA event.

Jeff Seong - 2021 - AJGA Thunderbird Junior All-Star

At the AJGA Thunderbird Junior All-Star , Jeff Seong of Tacoma Washington won the Boys Division with a tournament total 15-under-par 201. This was Seong's first AJGA career win. He earned low final round honors with a score of 7-under-par 65. Additionally, Seong carded eight birdies in the final round, giving him 18 total for the tournament.

Alice Ziyi Zhao - 2021 - AJGA Thunderbird Junior All-Star

In the Girls Division, Alice Ziyi Zhao of (China) Irvine, California also earned her first AJGA tournament victory. At the age of 12, she is the youngest player to win this event in its history. Zhao shot rounds of 71-67-70 for a tournament total 8-under-par 208. She also had an eagle in both the first and third round of play.
