J. Holland Humphries successfully defended his title at the Sergio and Angela Garcia Foundation Junior Championship over the weekend in Austin, Texas. The Austin native won in a one-hole playoff over fellow Austinite Jacob Sosa. Humphries, who will be attending Southern Methodist University, next fall fired rounds of 71 - 68 -72 for a 2-under-par 211 finish.

Texan Yunxuan (Michelle) Zhang claimed her fourth AJGA win at the Sergio and Angela Garcia Foundation Junior Championship over the weekend. The 2022 grad earned low final honors after carding a bogey free round that included five birdies. The 2020 Rolex Junior All-American finished the weekend as the only girl under par with a tournament total score of 3-under-par 213.
