Since his first golf tournament in 2019, Kyle Haas has been excelling in his golf career.
He was the 6th Annual Pinewild Fall Junior Classic champion in 2019. From there, Haas won two golf tournaments, one which qualified him to play in a professional tour.
This past spring, Haas played in the Sam Burns Classic at The Landings Club, finishing first. This allowed him to qualify into a the Club Car Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour.
To acknowledge his achievement, we asked Haas a few questions.
What does it mean to get an opportunity to play in a professional event next year?
"Playing in a professional event is one of the best opportunities I've had to test my game and see how I compare to others in the next level. It will be a good experience to learn, see how they play and get firsthand experience."
What are your goals for the 2022 season?
"My goals for the 2022 season are to keep playing consistently, try to get better each time I play and learn something new."
How has the AJGA helped contribute to your golf career?
"The AJGA plays the best juniors and courses in the United States. It has given me opportunities to play in really nice places with some really great people too."
What are you looking forward to most about the Club Car Championship?
"I'm looking forward to playing with some good players and maybe going on some tour trucks. I think that would be pretty cool."
