The five-time AJGA champion went wire-to-wire to win her second event of the year after the Strategic Communications / Justin Thomas Junior Championship presented by Phocus in April. The Northwestern University verbal commit is a Rolex Junior All-American and Transamerica Scholastic Honor Roll member. She is No. 29 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
Susan Xiao of (China) Surrey, British Columbia, won her second Canadian event in as many weeks, taking the wire-to-wire title at the Under Armour® Canadian Championship with a 2-under-par 205 total. The 15-year-old has finished inside the top 12 in each of her starts this season and is No. 65 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
Kyle Chung of (Canada) Brampton, Ontario, won the Eastern Canadian Junior Championship at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Georgetown, Ontario, one week after finishing T2 at the Under Armour® Canadian Championship. The rising high school junior won by four strokes and tied for the lowest round of the tournament with a second-round 4-under-par 68. Chung has played in five events with the AJGA and is T297 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
Edwin Kuang of Murrieta, California, won the 57th California State Boys Junior Amateur Championship at Bear Creek Golf & Country Club in Murrieta, California. With a two-day total of 7-under-par 137, the Oregon verbal commit beat 82 of his fellow Californians, many of whom are also AJGA juniors. Ranked No. 124 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, Kuang has finished inside the top five in his last three AJGA starts, including a T3 finish at the Callaway Golf Junior Championship.
