Bailey Shoemaker of West Edmeston, New York, finished second at the South Atlantic Women's Amateur Championship (SALLY) over the weekend. Shoemaker shared the first-round lead after posting a 3-under-par 69 that featured seven birdies. The University of Southern California verbal commit followed that up with a 2-under-par 70 in the second round to take the outright lead at 5-under-par 139. Shoemaker ultimately struggled in the third round and fell down the leaderboard, though she bounced back in the fourth and final round with an even-par 72 to finish the tournament five shots back in second at even-par 288. Shoemaker is a 2020 Rolex Junior All-American and No. T21 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. She won the 2018 FORE Performance Junior Championship.

Logan Hunter of Tampa, Florida, won the Florida State Golf Association's FJT Mission Inn Open. Hunter found himself one stroke off the lead after posting a 1-over-par 73 in the first round. He ultimately came from behind to win the tournament by three strokes after carding a 1-under-par 71 in the final round to finish at even-par 144. Hunter was one of two golfers to post an under-par round. He won the 2020 AJGA Senior Showcase (Senior Boys - Saddlebrook).

Sydney Yermish of Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, won the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour's Kiawah Resort Girls Classic (Oak Point). Yermish took the first-round lead behind a 1-under-par 71 and she never looked back. The high school sophomore continued her steady play into the final round, where she posted an even-par 72 to win the tournament by eight shots at 1-under-par 143. In three years of AJGA competition, Yermish owns three top-10 finishes in eight appearances. She also competed in her first AJGA Invitational in 2020, finishing eleventh at the KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational.

Harris Barth of Atlanta, finished second at the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour's Sea Island Junior Classic. The high school junior opened the two-day tournament with a 1-under-par 71 that included five birdies. Barth climbed the leaderboard in the final round behind a 3-under-par 69 that also featured five birdies. He ultimately finished three shots off the lead at 4-under-par 140. Barth competed in four AJGA events in 2020, rounding out the year with a seventh-place finish at the Rome Junior Classic. That's his best AJGA finish in three years of competition.
