Jack Morris of Franklin, Tennessee shot 69-63-69-201 at Three Ridges Golf Club to win the Tennessee Junior Amateur on June 25. He broke or equaled 10 different Tennessee Junior Amateur records including lowest score for 18, 36 and 54-hole scores. Morris has two top-five finishes in his AJGA career including a third-place finish at the 2017 AJGA Preview at Innisbrook (Ages 12-15) and a t-5th finish at the 2019 Scott Stallings Junior Championship. The recent graduate has a signed National Letter of Intent with Lipscomb University.

Kendall Maynard of Clarksville, Tennessee won the Tennessee Girls’ Junior Amateur at Three Ridges Golf Club at the end of June. She played her final 40 holes without a single bogey to combine for a 54-hole score of 5-under-par 211. She defeated her score from the 2019 event by over 20 strokes Maynard’s best AJGA finish was at the 2018 Cameron McCormick Junior All-Star when she was 20th.

Jarred Bowser of Urbandale, Iowa fired an opening-round 7-under-par 65 and followed it up with a one-over-par 73 to win the 45th Iowa Boys Junior PGA Championship. The event at Gates Park Municipal Golf Course in Waterloo, Iowa, was hosted June 23-24. In the first 13 holes of the event, he notched six birdies and an eagle. Bowser, member of the Class of 2021, has competed in two AJGA events including the 2018 AJGA Preview at Meadowbrook and the 2019 Natural Resource Partners Bluegrass Junior presented by BrickStreet Insurance.

Kendall Todd of Goodyear, Arizona won the Arizona State Junior Golf Championship in mid-June after posting a two-under-par 69 and 1-over-par 72 for a 36-hole score of 1-under-par 141. The state championship was played at TPC Scottsdale’s Champions Course. In 2019, Todd notched three top-10 finishes, including third-place finish at the AJGA Lake Las Vegas Junior hosted by Danielle Kang. She is also verbally committed to UNLV.
