Matthew Watkins of Heath, Texas, won the NTPGA Firewheel Championship carding a tournament total of 7-under-par 137. Finishing out his first round with two straight birdies on Nos. 17-18, the 17-year-old took third heading into his final round. Watkins pushed his way to the top of the leaderboard, holing seven birdies to shoot the lowest round of the tournament of 5-under-par 67. The University of New Mexico verbal commit has played in three AJGA events, earning two top-5 finishes, with his best at the 2018 Folds of Honor Junior Championship hosted by Bob Estes where he placed third.

Avery Zweig of McKinney, Texas, won the NTPGA Firewheel Championship by two strokes, carding a tournament total of 4-under-par 140. The 12-year-old played under par in both of her rounds, securing her spot at the top of the leaderboard after the first round. With seven birdies in her final round, Zweig shot a 3-under-par 69 to claim the title. The young junior golfer has played in three AJGA events this year with her best finish coming at the 2019 Hunter Mahan Junior Championship presented by Baylor Scott & White Sports Performance Center at The Star where she finished T6.

Cooper Schultz of Wichita, Kansas, won the Kansas Boys Junior Amateur Championship sweeping the field by seven strokes and carding a tournament total of 4-under-par 206. Claiming his position at the top of the leaderboard after the first round, the 17-year-old shot under 70 in all three rounds, carding 13 birdies to secure his finish. Schultz has played in five AJGA events, claiming two top-5 finishes with his best at the 2018 AJGA Kansas Junior at Buffalo Dunes.

Madeleine Laux of Goodyear, Arizona, won the JGAA Thunderbird Junior Classic carding a tournament total of 8-under-par 136. With five birdies in her first round, the 17-year-old secured her position at the top of the leaderboard with the lowest first round of the tournament at 4-under-par 68. Laux earned the title after finishing with five birdies to shoot a 5-under-par 31 on the back nine of her final round. The UNLV verbal commit has played in nine AJGA events, earning four top-10 finishes, her best coming at the 2017 Tathata Golf Junior All-Star Championship where she finished T3.
