Fountain is a freshman on the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Men’s Golf Team and last played with the AJGA in 2019. He would earn his best AJGA finish that same year after finishing runner-up at the AJGA Pinehurst Junior.

Despite a slow start in the first round, Cowart bounced back with a strong even-par 72 in the second round and followed it up with an impressive 5-under-par 67 in the final round to secure the victory. Cowart earned her career best AJGA finish during the 2019 season after finishing fourth at the Greenwood Junior Championship.
