Matthew Foster of Dallas, Texas, erased a three-shot deficit at the Lonestar Boys Invitational to earn his first major win on the Texas Junior Golf Tour. Despite being behind entering the final round, Foster got off to a hot start carding four birdies to shoot a 2-under-par 34 on the front nine. Three more birdies on the back nine shot him up the leaderboard. He finished the tournament at 3-under-par 141 to win by one stroke. Foster has 10 AJGA starts with his best finish in the 2020 season where he finished T3 at the Coca-Cola Junior Championship at Boyne Highlands.

Giovanna Fernandez of Asuncion, Paraguay, finished as the only girl under par in the International Junior Golf Tour Fall Kickoff. She started the tournament strong with a 1-under-par 71 to take a one-stroke lead. A tough second round left her in second heading into the final day. She carded the lowest round of the tournament with a 3-under-par 69 in the final round to win by two strokes. Fernandez has two appearances at the Thunderbird International Junior in her AJGA career and is a verbal commit to the University of Arkansas.

Greyson Leach of Rolling Hills Estates, California, won the Southern California PGA Inland Empire Amateur Championship after carding three-straight rounds in the 60s. Leach improved his score each day starting with a 3-under-par 69 in the first round and coming back in the second round with a 6-under-par 66. In the final round, he went bogey-free with six birdies and an eagle to card an impressive 8-under-par 64 and win by one. Leach has played in AJGA events since 2017, with his best finish coming at the 2018 AJGA Junior All-Star at Hunter Ranch where he finished T11.

Josephine Nguyen of Springfield, Virginia, won in the Girls Division of the Denny McCarthy Invitational after carding a tournament total of 8-over-par 152. She entered the final round four shots off the lead but finished with birdies on two of her last four holes to shoot a 1-over-par 72 and win by two strokes. Nguyen played in her first AJGA event this year. She finished T2 at the AJGA Preview at Fords Colony (Ages 12-15).
