She shot a 1-over-par 72 in the final round to end at 1-over-par 214 and finish T51. Schuster is in her fourth year of AJGA competition and is No. 16 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
Jack Boltja of Thomasville, Georgia, took home the Boys Division title at the Southern Junior Golf Tour (SJGT) Harris English Invitational. Boltja jumped out to the early lead in the event with a 4-under-par 68. He came back with a 5-under-par 67 in the second round to hold on and win by one stroke at 9-under-par 135. Boltja is a verbal commit to Georgia Southern University and has played in four AJGA events.
Ebby Somers of Valdosta, Georgia, won in the Girls Division of the SJGT Harris English Invitational with a tournament score of 3-over-par 147. Her first round of even-par 72 put her into a tie for the lead and a final round of 3-over-par 75 earned her the victory by one stroke. Somers is in her first year as a member of the AJGA and she has recorded a top-5 finish in each of her six starts on the SJGT in 2020.
Nathan Franks of Roebuck, South Carolina, won the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) Creed Junior Boys' Invitational to earn his second CGA championship in the last month. Franks began with a 2-under-par 68 that included four birdies but he sat one stroke back of the lead after the first round. A 1-over-par 71 in the final round earned him a one-stroke victory and left him as the only competitor under par. Franks is a verbal commit to the University of South Carolina and has one win at the 2019 Callaway Golf / Ollie Schniederjans Junior Classic presented by UHY LLP CPA's. He was also a 2019 Honorable Mention Rolex Junior All-American.
