Amari Avery of Riverside, California, competed against the men at the Advocates Pro Golf Association (APGA) Tour Los Angeles at Montebello Golf Course. Playing as an amateur, Avery placed T25 overall, and third out of the eight amateurs with a score of 4-over-par 75. Avery has two AJGA wins on her resume and recently placed in the top 10 at the AJGA Girls Invitational at Stanford. She is verbally committed to USC and is a three-time Rolex Junior All-American.

Solomon Petri of Akron, Ohio, (second from right) put together a stand-out performance on September 8 at the 2020 Archbishop Hoban Invitational at Portage Country Club. Petri won the individual title with a score of 8-under-par 62. Petri's score also helped the Knights win the overall team title in the 19-team varsity field. Archbishop Hoban's five varsity players: Petrie, Nolan Haynes of Barberton, Ohio, Jacob Ryan of Akron, Ohio, Jack Vojtko of Stow, Ohio, and Joshua Wright or Fairlawn, Ohio, all finished within the top 36 for a combined total of 8-under-par 272. Petri won the 2020 Imperial Junior Headwear Classic last month.

Rylea Marcum of Georgetown, Kentucky, (third from right) led Western Kentucky to its first Division I win of the season on September 7 at the USA Intercollegiate held at Robert Trent Jones Magnolia Grove - Crossings Course. The Hilltoppers beat out the six other schools competing by nine strokes and finished with a combined team score of 6-under-par. Marcum finished individually in second place with a personal three-day total of 5-under-par 211. The Freshman played four years with the AJGA and ended her junior career with a win at the 2020 Justin Thomas Junior Championship last month.

Noah Campbell of Pickering, Ontario, put together a two-day tournament total of 5-under-par 139 to win the HJGT Labor Day Weekend Junior Open at Firerock Golf Club. Campbell tied the low-round of the tournament in the Boys 14-18 Division with his second-round score of 3-under-par 69 for a six-stroke victory. Campbell has competed in one AJGA event at the AJGA Preview at Sandestin (Ages 12-15).
