Erica Shepherd of Greenwood, Indiana, won the Indiana Women’s Amateur after shooting a tournament total of 7-under 209. Shepherd held a share of the lead each day of the three-day tournament with under-par rounds. After carding a pair of 2-under 70s on the first two days, Shepherd fired a 3-under 69 in the final round, recording the lowest score of the day and finishing four strokes ahead of her competitors. The three-time First Team Rolex Junior All-American just finished her freshman year at Duke University.

Michaela Morard of Huntsville, Alabama, won the 57th Alabama Girls State Junior Championship with a 4-over total of 220. The three-time AJGA Champion now holds the Alabama state record for most Girls State Junior Championship titles after collecting her fourth consecutive championship win and fifth overall (2015, 2017-2020). She shot a 1-over 73 and 1-under 71 in the first and second rounds, respectively. Morard was the 2019 Female AJGA Player Representative and has a signed letter of intent to the University of Alabama for this coming fall.

John Marshall Butler of Louisville, Kentucky, won The Dye Junior Invitational at former BMW Championship host course Crooked Stick Golf Club. Butler finished five strokes ahead of the rest of the field as he carded an even-par 216. He followed up a first-round, 1-over 73 with a 1-under 71 to tie for the second-round lead and clinched the win by shooting even-par 72 in the final round. Butler has a signed letter of intent with Auburn University for this fall and he has one AJGA win at the 2018 AJGA City of London Junior Championship. He recently finished T7 at the AJGA
Invitational at Sedgefield.

J. Holland Humphries of Austin, Texas, won the Veritex Bank Byron Nelson Junior Championship by four strokes after firing a 12-under 201. Humphries opened the event with a 4-under 67 and took the lead in the second round with a 7-under 64. His final-round performance and 1-under score of 70 helped him clinch the victory. Over the three rounds, Humphries recorded 17 birdies and an eagle on his way to the win. Humphries is verbally committed to Southern Methodist University and is a two-time Second Team Rolex Junior All-American.
