Rising LPGA sensation Rose Zhang has announced the establishment of the Rose Zhang Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant Endowment, a permanent fund aimed at providing financial assistance to aspiring young female golfers from California. This initiative, in partnership with the American Junior Golf Association, reaffirms Zhang’s commitment to DEVELOPING GOLF’S NEXT GENERATION®.
The endowment will contribute $100,000 over a five-year period, with an additional $7,000 each year to fully fund grants year-round. This investment will ensure that talented female junior golfers from California have the resources they need to compete at the highest levels, regardless of financial constraints. The endowment is open to all who qualify regardless of skill level or competitive experience, providing an inclusive opportunity through the Liberty National ACE Grant.
With this initiative, Zhang becomes the fourth LPGA player to establish an AJGA endowment, joining the ranks of Annika Sörenstam, Stacy Lewis and Yani Tseng. As a former two-time Rolex Junior Player of the Year and Liberty National ACE Grant recipient herself, Zhang understands the importance of financial support for young golfers attempting to excel at the highest level.
“The Liberty National ACE Grant helped me thrive in my junior golf and collegiate career. I feel honored to give back to an opportunity that has always brought me so much joy and so many opportunities to play.”
Zhang has also worked closely with her corporate partners, including AT&T, to help fund and expand the reach of this endowment. Zhang’s commitment to philanthropy and junior golf development aligns with her journey from an elite junior to a successful professional golfer. By launching this endowment, she continues to make an impact beyond her achievements on the course, helping shape the future of women’s golf.
