The American Junior Golf Association recognizes the 2022 adidas Junior All-Star as the top event of the year in the Junior All-Star category.
The event was hosted at Royal Oaks Country Club, located in Vancouver, Washington. Since the event's inception, the tournament continues to elevate the experience with the addition of the No. 14 course in Washington as the tournament host venue in 2022.
As an AJGA National Sponsor, adidas Golf is the Official Apparel and Footwear of the AJGA and has provided more than 25 years of support at various levels, including at the Junior All-Star level.
In the third year of the adidas Junior All-Star event, adidas provided extra tournament benefits with one-of-a-kind trophies with the adidas logo, custom signage for the event and additional tournament gifts to create a memorable experience for all players.
One of the most unique features of the event was the opportunity for Tournament players and guests to visit the adidas Employee Store. Player registration also took place at the store and adidas offered an exclusive shopping discount. Nearly 100% of the field participated in the event. Players and guests were given access to the store for the duration of the tournament, allowing them multiple opportunities to visit and make purchases.
In addition to a top-ranked course and increased tournament benefits, the membership and community near Royal Oaks helped fill all volunteer positions for the event and were devoted to making sure everything operated smoothly while the AJGA was on-site. In it's first year as host, Royal Oaks helped secure impressive fundraising amounts and went above and beyond to reduce tournament expenses and help players and guests feel welcomed during the tournament.
This award is a testament to the incredible dedication showcased by the community of Royal Oaks and adidas to host a first-class event. This event is one of the most anticipated Junior All-Stars on the schedule because of the way they were able to elevate and create a unique tournament experience. Their dedication to empowering the next generation of athletes has played a pivotal role in shaping the success of this event.
