This week, two of the biggest events in girl's and women's golf occur simultaneously as the ANA Inspiration takes place at Mission Hills Country Club and the Augusta National Women's Amateur takes place at Champions Retreat and Augusta National Golf Club.
Due to COVID-19, the ANA Inspiration field did not accept amateurs this year, as it has in the past, which lent itself to a stronger field at the ANWA as the top amateurs signed up to compete there instead.
The AJGA's legacy of providing opportunities for girls to compete at the national level continues to grow as evidenced by the connections between these fields and the past and current AJGA members who are competing in them.
ANA Inspiration:
- 72 of 119 competitors are AJGA alumnae
- 7 Rolex Junior Players of the Year

- 2016 ANA Junior Inspiration champion Andrea Lee is in the field
