Braselton, GA – The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) is thrilled to announce the first International Pathway Series event to be held in Chinese Taipei in 2024. The event will be hosted by professional golfer, C.T. Pan, who aims to create a global network of opportunities for junior golfers to hone their skills, gain exposure, and pursue their dreams.

The AJGA's groundbreaking International Pathways Series is designed to provide a unique platform for the AJGA's international members who want to attend college and earn their way into AJGA tournaments. These AJGA-sanctioned tournaments will award top finishers with Performance Based Entry (PBE) status.

The first event of the International Pathways Series in Chinese Taipei is set to take place January 21-22, 2024, at C.T. Pan's local course, National Garden Country Club in Yuanli, Miaoli.

"The International Pathway Series is a groundbreaking project by the AJGA, and my wife and I are honored to be partners in the endeavor of creating more collegiate opportunities for junior golfers in Taiwan. Additionally, we are extremely excited to hold our inaugural junior event in Taiwan and have the opportunity to personally meet future golfers.”
C.T. Pan, PGA TOUR Player

The International Pathway Series isn't the first time C.T. Pan would be involved with the AJGA. Pan hosted his first AJGA tournament, the C.T. Pan Junior Championship at The Clubs of Kingwood in Kingwood, Texas back in 2019. Following the success of the event, Pan decided to support another AJGA event to bring more playing opportunities to our membership. In addition to hosting, Pan also dedicates his time to help juniors from Chinese Taipei realize their own golf dreams by offering exemptions to his events.

As a junior golfer, Pan played in 10 AJGA tournaments from 2007-2010, with his best finish as a runner-up at the 2008 Mizuno Junior at Innisbrook. He had an additional seven top-10 finishes and earned Second-Team Rolex Junior All-America honors in 2009.

"We are extremely excited to join forces with the International Pathways Series and for C.T. Pan to host. This partnership aligns with our mission to provide junior golfers with opportunities to excel in the sport and build their futures. The International Pathways Series is just the beginning of what promises to be an incredible journey for our young golfers."

The AJGA is excited to add more International Pathway Series events to the schedule next year and for the opportunities it will bring to junior golfers around the world.
