During Women's History Month, the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) recognizes the strong women that have been a vital component to the growth and success of the organization year round.
Out of the 67 full-time staff members at the AJGA, 29 are female, approximately 43%. With at least one female staff member in every department, the women of the AJGA continuously demonstrate their necessity and impact in the golf industry. By welcoming women from all backgrounds and embracing diverse perspectives, the AJGA is better equipped to accomplish their mission of developing golf’s next generation.
The AJGA's commitment to creating an engaging, safe and inclusive environment is also critical for the internship program. Of the 76 summer interns in 2021, 54% were women, and nine women were hired full-time.
