BRASELTON, Ga. The AJGA will partner with Envision EMI to offer up to $1.2 million in scholarships, the Association announced Tuesday. The partnership, which seeks to reward the AJGAs motivated and high-achieving membership, features $1.2 million in scholarships to Envision EMIs many different leadership programs, including the Congressional Youth Leadership Council and the National Young Leaders Forum.
The AJGA is very excited to provide our membership with such a unique opportunity, AJGA Southeast Regional Director Preston Etheridge said. Envision EMI offers excellent leadership programs that will greatly benefit the AJGA membership.
Each AJGA member who qualifies will be entitled to a $250 scholarship to be used toward participation in an Envision EMI program. The programs, held across the United States and in several foreign countries, will help juniors hone their leadership skills. The scholarships are available to AJGA members who are high-achieving students with a minimum grade point average of 3.3. The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. The AJGA provides valuable exposure for college golf scholarships, and has an annual junior membership (boys and girls ages 12-18) of approximately 5,000 junior golfers from 49 states and 30 countries. To ensure scholarship opportunities for all junior golfers who have the skill, the AJGA created the Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant program to provide financial assistance to young players in need.
