BRASELTON, Ga. – The American Junior Golf Association announced Monday that the Foley Performance Academy @ EaglesDream will become an Official Partner and the Official Boarding School & Golf Learning Center of the AJGA, along with providing content for juniors via a new instructional video series.
Renowned PGA Tour golf instructor Sean Foley partnered with EaglesDream in 2017 to establish the Foley Performance Academy @ EaglesDream. Foley works most notably with Olympic champion Justin Rose and has twice been featured on the cover of Golf Digest.
As the Official Boarding School & Golf Learning Center of the AJGA, Foley Performance Academy @ EaglesDream will share online video content from its staff throughout the year for juniors. Content will include tips on training in the off-season, competition preparation, competition tweaks and feedback, as well as fitness and nutrition.
“The opportunity to partner with the AJGA is something we could not pass up,” Foley said. “To be able to showcase the talent of our staff and share their knowledge and expertise with the AJGA community presents a chance to help all of our constituents grow and develop through the game of golf. As importantly, it will further our efforts to reach the next generation of players across the country.”
“We are proud to bring Foley Performance Academy @ EaglesDream on to the list of Official Partners,” AJGA Chief Business Officer Jason Etzen said. “The Academy provides incredible opportunities for junior golfers in hopes of attaining a college golf scholarship. This partnership will help the Academy and the AJGA bring TOUR-level instruction and advice to the membership.”
Foley Performance Academy @ EaglesDream previously served as a Tournament Title Partner for two events on the AJGA schedule: the Foley Performance Academy @ EaglesDream Junior Championship and the Foley Performance Academy @ EaglesDream Junior All-Star. Both events take place at the Timacuan Golf & Country Club in Lake Mary, Florida.
At the Foley Performance Academy @ EaglesDream Junior Championship in January, Aden Ye, of Lake Mary, Florida, came within a single of stroke of tying the AJGA’s 54-hole scoring record during his wire-to-wire victory of 18-under-par 198. Ye is a student at the academy and is verbally committed to the University of Florida.
The Foley Performance Academy @ EaglesDream Junior All-Star will take place July 24-27, at Timacuan Golf & Country Club in Lake Mary, Florida.
