Michaela Morard of Huntsville, Alabama, fired a final-round 7-under-par 65 to come from behind and win the 10th AJGA Girls Championship. The University of Alabama verbal commit held off Megan Schofill of Monticello, Florida, by one stroke. Morard carded 17 birdies over the course of the tournament and finished at a total of 10-under-par 206, which broke the previous AJGA Girls Championship scoring record by three strokes. This marks her sixth-career AJGA victory and second-consecutive championship in as many weeks. The 16-year-old has yet to finish outside the top-12 in AJGA events this season and is ranked No. 8 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
