The University of Georgia finished their season with three team titles after beating rivals Georgia Tech on Sunday at the Hooters Collegiate Match Play Championship. Former Rolex Junior All-Americans Kevin Kisner, Chris Kirk and Brendon Todd all captured victories for the Bulldogs.
Georgia Tech senior Mike Barbosa defeated former Rolex Junior Player of the Year Brian Harman, 4 and 3, by winning four straight holes after being deadlocked through the first nine. Adam Cohan was also victorious for the Yellow Jackets defeating Richard Scott, 2 and 1.
Purdue’s women were able to capture the victory on Sunday over Arizona State University. The Boilermakers were led by freshman Maria Hernandez and sophomore Whitney Frykman. Also taking their matches were Onnarin Sattayabanphot and Christel Boeljon.
The Sun Devils held close, but were never able to make the comeback. Tiffany Tavee was the only player to win, earning ASU one point against third ranked Purdue.

Christina Kim earned her second LPGA Tour victory on Sunday at the Mitchell Company LPGA Tournament of Champions. Finishing the tournament 15-under at Magnolia Grove’s Crossing’s Course in Mobile, Ala., Kim outlasted Australia’s Rachel Hetherington by one stroke.
Three-time Rolex Junior All-American Brittany Lang finished second at the FUTURES Tour Qualifying Tournament this past weekend. The Duke University junior shot rounds of 69-69-69-68 – 275 to finish five shots behind Song-Hee Kim of Seoul, South Korea.
