The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Imperial Hawai‘i Junior Classic at Pearl at Kalauao returns to Oʻahu this week, Oct. 10-12, bringing together 78 junior golfers from Hawaiʻi, the continental U.S. and abroad.
The field includes 16 golfers from Hawai‘i — nine boys and seven girls — competing alongside some of the top junior golfers from around the globe. The tournament will again be hosted in partnership with the Hawaiʻi State Golf Association.
“We are humbled and excited to continue hosting this elite level of junior golf competition in Hawai‘i. With full support from local and national partners, the Imperial Hawai‘i Junior Classic at Pearl at Kalauao is poised to deliver an exceptional experience for players, families and the Hawai‘i sports community.”
Following last year’s successful debut, the Imperial Hawai‘i Junior Classic at Pearl at Kalauao was extended for two years, securing the Oʻahu event on the AJGA schedule through 2027.
The 2026 event is open to junior golfers ages 12 to 19. Entry is earned through performance-based exemptions, qualifiers and AJGA events.
Last year’s inaugural tournament brought 78 junior golfers to Oʻahu, including 18 from Hawai‘i and generated more than $400,000 in estimated local economic impact. Frederick Egnatios won the Boys Division in a three-hole playoff, while Bella Ransi captured the Girls Division by one stroke.
Tee times Saturday through Monday begin at 7:30 a.m. on the Nos. 1 and 10 tees.
Attendance is free for walking spectators. Limited on-site parking is also available.
