Roman Solomon competed in the Underrated Golf Tour's inaugural Curry Cup Championship, taking home the champion title for the boys division. By securing the champion title, Solomon earned himself an exemption into the 2023 Under Armour® / Jordan Spieth Championship presented by Invited.
Underrated and AJGA, just like that partnership is pretty cool. They give us the opportunities to play in great tournaments, so I am pretty grateful for this experience.
The Underrated Golf Tour was created by Stephen Curry as a way to bring more access, equity and opportunity to the game of golf. Solomon shares his experience on the Underrated Golf Tour and how they partner with the AJGA to provide junior golfers with access to more tournaments and opportunities.
Solomon began competing in AJGA tournaments in 2021. The Florida native has competed in the 2021 Harold Varner III Foundation Junior All-Star as well as the 2023 Will Lowery Junior Championship. In addition to AJGA events, Solomon took home the champion title at the 2021 Mack Champ Invitational.
