Get to know Shannon
- What’s your favorite AJGA experience/memory? I have been fortunate to have several incredible experiences while at the AJGA. I have two that really stick out though. In 2019, I had the opportunity to represent the AJGA on the Rules Committee for the inaugural Augusta National Women's Amateur. That summer I also served as the Assistant Captain of the victorious East Team at our annual Wyndham Cup. Go East!
- What’s your favorite thing to do outside of the AJGA and golf? I love anything that takes me outside. As if I don’t travel enough with work, I love traveling to new places, trying new restaurants and hanging out with family/friends. I enjoy being by the water whether that is at the beach, lake, or river. I love fishing and have been pretty successful at it, if I do say so myself.

- Who’s been your biggest influence in life? My family has and always will be the biggest influence in my life. My parents have always been extremely supportive and encouraging of my choices through school and now my career path. I have never felt like I couldn’t do something because they empowered me to dream big and work hard. My brothers are my favorite people – both special in their own way. They keep me accountable and push me to go above and beyond. Plus we are very competitive with each other, so that keeps things interesting.
- What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? I am so thankful for all of the mentors I have in my life. I would not be on the path I am on right now without each of them. The best piece of advice I have gotten was to always give 110% in everything you do because you never know who is watching you.

- If you could have any superpower, what would you choose? I would love the ability to think of a place I would like to travel, snap my fingers and be there.
