TOUR Highlights: April 17

RBC Heritage

Former Rolex Junior All-Americans Patrick Cantlay and Ollie Schniederjans battled throughout the week to finish T3 at the RBC Heritage in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Cantlay, who finished runner-up at the Valspar Championship in March, shot a 4-under-par 67 during the final round to jump from 10th to T3. The former Jack Nicklaus Award winner carded six birdies during the final round and finished the week with an 11-under-par 273. Before attending UCLA, Cantlay competed in numerous AJGA events and was named a first-team Rolex Junior All-American twice. His lone AJGA victory came at the 2008 ClubCorp Mission Hills Desert Junior.

Sunday's T3 finish was the fourth top-10 finish for Schniederjans in 2017 and his best finish on TOUR. The Georgia Tech alumnus started the final round with back-to-back birdies and carded three more on the front-nine en-route to a 2-under-par 69 on the day. Schniederjans earned his TOUR card after winning the Air Capital Classic on the Tour in 2016. Like Cantlay, Schniederjans also competed in several AJGA events as a junior, winning the 2009 Polo Golf Junior Classic and playing on the 2010 Wyndham Cup East team. Schniederjans was also a member of the 2010 U.S. Junior Ryder Cup team. Before turning professional, both Schniederjans and Cantlay spent time as the top-ranked amateur in the world.
