TOUR Highlights: November 6

Patrick Cantlay saved par from behind a tree on the second playoff hole to earn his first TOUR victory in highlight-reel fashion. The 25-year-old carded four consecutive birdies on Nos. 11-14 at TPC Summerlin to win the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. After the win, Cantlay got shoutouts from many professionals, including the reigning PGA TOUR Player of the Year.

Cantlay is a former No. 1-ranked amateur in the world while at UCLA and competed in 20 AJGA tournaments from 2005-10. Cantlay was a two-time Rolex Junior All-American (2008-09) and won the 2008 ClubCorp Mission Hills Desert Junior.

New AJGA tournament host Shanshan Feng became the first LPGA Tour player to defend her title this season with her second straight win at the TOTO Japan Classic. With three back-nine birdies, Feng won the tournament two days after the announcement of her new AJGA Invitational, the Buick Shanshan Feng Girls Invitational.

Feng topped a pair of AJGA alumni to earn her eighth LPGA victory. Ai Suzuki, an AJGA medalist in 2012, finished solo second while Anna Nordqvist, a member of the 2005 European PING Junior Solheim Cup Team, finished solo third.
