PING Legacy

In 2021, PING became the AJGA's first Legacy Partner. With this distinction, it adds support totaling more than four decades, making it one of the longest-standing champions of junior golf.

THREE DECADES OF SUPPORT
1989
PING began its sponsorship of the AJGA and hosted its first event, the PING Myrtle Beach Junior Classic at Pine Lakes International Country Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
2002
PING increased its support of junior golf and came on board as an AJGA Official Partner. PING also started support of the PING Junior Solheim Cup hosted for the first time on September 16-18, at Oak Ridge Country Club in Hopkins, Minnesota.
2006
The first year of The PING Invitational. One of the AJGA's top Invitationals held over Columbus Day weekend at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
2009
PING became the Official Golf Bag of the AJGA in 2009 in addition to adding sponsorship of PING College Golf Signing Day. In 2010, they began giving golf bags to champions of all AJGA events as well as custom bags at select tournaments and team events.
2017
The first year of the PING Heather Farr Classic. The Open tournament takes place at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona.
PING has sponsored the PING College Golf Signing Day since 2009, showcasing hundreds of juniors annually on their next chapter after junior golf.
