GREENSBORO, Ga. – Keaton Vo of Austin, captured his second title of the year at the AJGA Junior All-Star Invitational at Reynolds Lake Oconee after carding a tournament-total of 13-under-par 203.

In the Girls Division, Lynn Lim of Gallatin, Tennessee, secured her first victory with a tournament total of 7-under-par 209. Lim now has 13 top-10 finishes in national junior golf since 2017.

Reynolds Lake Oconee will host the AJGA Junior All-Star Invitational each October through 2020. Announced in 2016, the partnership features involvement from the Reynolds Lake Oconee team to produce one of the AJGA's top events. The season-ending Road to Reynolds 96-player field was determined by top finishes in the Junior All-Star Series qualifying events and the Rolex AJGA Rankings. The champions of each of the Junior All-Star Series events and Junior All-Star Team members received an automatic invitation to the event.

At T59 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, Vo capped off his final round with a bogey-free 6-under-par 66 to hold off Ethan Gao of Alpharetta, Georgia.

Vo won the 2019 AJGA Junior All-Star at Wigwam in May and then had two runner-up finishes at the Cameron McCormick Junior All-Star and Fold of Honor Junior Championship hosted by Bob Estes.

“This tournament means a lot to me,” Vo said. “I’ve been so close with back-to-back playoffs and that kind of stings. It definitely feels good to be on top this week.”

Rounding out the Boys Division, Caleb Surratt of Indian Trail, North Carolina, and Matthew Spaulding of Spring, Texas, finished tied for third. Wells Williams of West Point, Mississippi, finished in fifth place.

Lim had twelve birdies for the tournament, and she is a verbal commit to Vanderbilt University. In her 2019 season, Lim finished tied for third at the KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational.

“This season was tough for me,” Lim said. “So to be able to close it out with a win at this tournament, it opens up a lot of opportunities for me. It feels amazing.”

The field is represented by 47 AJGA Champions who have won a collective 60 AJGA titles. All 20 members of the 2019 Junior All-Star Team will compete on the Oconee course with seven players also verbally committed to play college golf.

Junior All-Star Series
The Junior All-Star Series was created within the AJGA in 1998 to give younger players ages 12-15 the opportunity to compete at the national level against their peers with a golf course setup that reflects this goal of yardages more appropriate for this age group. Notable junior golfers who got their start with the Junior All-Star Series include: Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Patrick Reed, Inbee Park, Brittany Lang and Alison Lee.

Reynolds Lake Oconee
Located in the Georgia Lake Country nearly 90 miles east of Atlanta, Reynolds has been a world-renowned private club and resort for almost three decades. The 10,000-acre private resort community features six championship golf courses designed by five legendary architects: Bob Cupp, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, Rees Jones and Jim Engh. Reynolds Lake Oconee is also home to The Reynolds Kingdom of Golf presented by TaylorMade, a world-class instructional and club fitting facility.

The Oconee Course
Defined by a dramatic routing along the Lake Oconee shoreline, this Rees Jones design is a true risk/reward layout. The Oconee course offers inspiring lake views while presenting options to play shots over inlets of Lake Oconee, or carry corners of tree-lined doglegs. The par-72, 7,029-yard course also captured the attention of the golf industry hosting tournaments such as the annual Linger Longer Invitational collegiate championship, 2007 PGA Cup and the annual Chick-fil-A Bowl Challenge.
