First Round Results

The second-round of the Wyndham Invitational presented by BB&T begins this morning at 7:30 am off No. 1.

The first-round at Sedgefield Country Club was filled with low numbers by some of the top juniors in the nation. Out of the 72 players in the field, 29 carded under par rounds. Maxwell Ford of Peachtree Corners, Georgia, fired the low round of the day with a 6-under-par 64. This is Ford’s first Wyndham Invitational and first invitational lead.

Jewoon Park – 9:40 am tee time
· Steady first round putting together a string of five birdies on the front-nine
· Carded second lowest round of the day at 4-under-par 66
· Finished second at the 2018 Wyndham Invitational presented by BB&T
· Verbally committed to Arizona State University
Karl Vilips – 10:20 am tee time
· Recorded 1-under-par 69 after a back and forth bogey-birdie start
· Defending champion of the Wyndham Invitational presented by BB&T
· Currently No. 1 in Rolex AJGA Rankings
· Six AJGA career wins including two invitational victories
Maxwell Ford – 11:00 am tee time
· Consistent first round carding six birdies on the front to shoot 6-under-par 29
· Coming off a top-three finish at the 2019 Vaughn Taylor Championship presented by James Hardie
· Currently ranked No. 66 in Rolex AJGA Rankings
· Two AJGA wins in 2018 at both the Evitt Foundation RTC Junior All-Star and the AJGA Junior All-Star at Crooks Creek

Thursday: Third-round tee times 7 a.m. – 10:50 a.m.
Friday: Final-round tee times 7 a.m. – 10 a.m. Awards Ceremony following play at approximately 2 p.m.
