The AJGA Junior at River Crossing will take place July 13-16 at the River Crossing Club in Spring Branch, Texas. The 54-hole stroke play tournament has a 78-player field in addition to a qualifier and a FOX Sports Junior-Am Fundraising Tournament .

About the Field

  • Fifteen juniors committed to playing college golf (seven verbal, eight letters of intent)
  • Seven past AJGA Champions (three boys, four girls)
  • Four countries (China, Mexico, South Korea and United States) and 9 states represented in the field
  • 53 juniors in the field are from Texas

Players to Watch

Matthew Spaulding of Spring, Texas (2022)
Spaulding is ranked No. 45 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. His resume includes two AJGA victories in 2019. In 2020, Spaulding already has two top-20 finishes to his name.

Ben DeLaRosa of Dallas, Texas (2023)
DeLaRosa is coming off a victory at last week's KJ Choi Foundation Texas Junior Championship presented by Mediheal. He is currently No. 292 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.

Elina Sinz of Katy, Texas (2020)
Sinz is currently No. 25 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. Sinz had a very successful 2019 including two AJGA victories. Sinz begins her collegiate career at Auburn University this fall.

Ashley Menne of Surprise, Arizona (2020)
Menne finished T2 at the 2020 Insperity Invitational / Patrick Reed AJGA Junior Championship. She is currently No. 33 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. Menne begins her collegiate golf career at Arizona State University this fall. .
