Her two previous AJGA starts were at the 2018 and 2019 Thunderbird International Junior.
First-round leader Kaitlyn Schroeder of Jacksonville, Florida, finished the second-round in solo second. The 2023 graduate added one point to her tally for a stableford tournament total of 8.
Ka Yee Kwok of (Hong Kong) Tianjin, China, holds the solo third slot with four points. The 2021 grad is looking for her first AJGA open win. Kwok earned the Qualifier Medalist honors at the 2019 AJGA Preview at Sandestin.
Miguel Leal of Guatemala, Guatemala, held onto the Boys Division lead with a stableford tournament total of 28. Leal's second round included five birdies which helped earn him 9 points. The 2021 grad is making his third ever AJGA start and coming off a top-10 finish at the AJGA Junior at Kingwood.
Eoin Buckelew of Ocala, Florida, shot a bogey-free second round for 12 points that included six birdies. Buckelew, a 2021 graduate, is making his second career AJGA start this week. He is currently tied for second with 16 total points.
Derek Sanderson of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, added 7 points to his tournament total today for a final 16. Sanderson is currently ranked No. T157 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and has five top-10 AJGA finishes.
